Olayinka Hakeem Babalola is the 2026–2027 President of Rotary International, taking office on July 1, 2026. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Trans Amadi in Rivers State, Nigeria, and is the second African to serve as Rotary International President (following the late Jonathan B. Majiyagbe in 2003–2004)

Since 1988, Rotary and our partners have helped immunize more than 3 billion children against polio in 122 countries. This effort has reduced polio cases by 99.9% worldwide, but the work isn’t done until polio is gone for good.
